Terms of Service

Effective date: July 4, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Guitarly mobile application and website at guitarly.app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Using Guitarly

You must be at least 13 years old to use Guitarly. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. Subscriptions

Guitarly offers a free tier and a paid "Pro" subscription, billed monthly or annually through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings — we do not process cancellations directly.

3. Content and licensing

Chord charts, chord diagrams, and progressions generated by Guitarly are provided for personal practice and educational use. Original and public-domain material in our catalog is provided under those respective terms; where a song is credited to a third-party artist, availability of official chord/lyric content depends on our licensing arrangements and may change.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
  • Use the Service to infringe on the rights of any copyright holder
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service or its servers
  • Use automated means to access the Service without our permission

5. AI-generated content

Practice plans and coaching guidance are generated by an AI model and are provided for general educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional music instruction, and Guitarly makes no guarantee about the accuracy or completeness of any AI-generated content.

6. Termination

You may stop using Guitarly and delete your account at any time by contacting support@guitarly.app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guitarly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the effective date above when we do, and continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
